Ling has been teaching in the fitness and rehabilitation industry for almost 20 years, where she started with high-intensity programs such as Bootcamp, HIIT, and Boxing. This kind of lifestyle eventually led her to physical and mental injuries such as disc herniation, muscle spasm, and anxiety disorder.
She is fortunate to have discovered the systematic and scientific form of exercise — Pilates — since 2015 and has since learned and taught the art. Now, she is proud to say that since she has been practicing Pilates and incorporating the knowledge into her teaching regime, she has no more need for NSAID (anti-inflammatory drugs) and she does not need to go back to any physiotherapy session anymore.
Ling strongly believes in the mind and body connection. For her, meditation and exercise are not just practices, but a way of life. She finds profound joy in the harmony between breath, movement, and mindfulness, and is passionate about sharing this transformative experience with her clients. Through her classes, she aims to help you discover your inner strength, improve your posture, and cultivate a sense of calm that extends beyond the studio into your daily life.
The knowledge that she gains is crucial to the physical and sports industry nowadays, especially as there is less awareness about the correct way of exercise in Asia. She is eager to share her learning with whoever is willing to embark on this healthy journey.
For Ling, Pilates is her way of life.
